Will I miss sports or classes These dates were picked to minimize the impact on both! If you have a preseason or rec game that occurs that weekend you will miss it. You will miss 3 days of class. You are expected in class on December 13. All work should be made up that week. Many teachers will give work in advance that can be completed on the trip or before we leave.
How many fundraising opportunities will there be? There will be at least one more account fundraiser this spring, one in the fall, and hopefully more!
Will we definitely go? We can only do the trip if a viable performance group signs up. If not, the trip will not occur.
Weather or other events could impact the trip. For this reason, all students are required to purchase travel insurance as part of the trip process. Trip insurance cover 75% of the cost of the trip that cannot be refunded if you need to cancel for any reason.
Cost and Payments
March 2-10 , 2023 - $25 Deposit due (non-refundable if selected to attend trip)
March 13-27, 2023 - $225 + Insurance Purchase required through tour company website
April 15, 2023 – $275 due through tour company website
May 15, 2023 – $275 due through tour company website
June 15, 2023 – $275 due through tour company website
July 15, 2023 – $275 due through tour company website
September 15, 2023 – $275 due through tour company website
October 15, 2023 – Final Payment Due (approx. $225)

Total Price based on full group and estimated total price of $1950 per student (including $100 for travel insurance). If the group is not full (49 students) or events change, it could impact the price!
Fundrasing will be applied to account with tour company in the fall.
Sign Up Process
The trip will be open to 49 MS/HS Band students enrolled in concert band classes. The paperwork will go live on the web on Febraury 28, 2023. The first 30 students to submit paperwork and deposits beginning on March 2 will go. The remaining 19 spots will be filled out based on a system of instrument need and seniority by any students who submit completed paperwork and deposits by 2:00 pm on March 10. Paperwork and Deposits will only be taken together. If not returned together they will be returned and you will not have a spot. This is the process we have used for the past spring tours.
