Excited to announce that the following members of the Drum Corps Community will be lending their voices to our 2017 production, “Evolution: A Reflection on the Marching Arts”

Thom Hannum - Multiple Time DCI Champion arranger and percussion instructor with such corps as The Cadets, Star of Indiana, and currently Carolina Crown, Thom was also part of the team behind the Broadway Musical “Blast!” He also currently serves as the Associate Director of Minuteman Marching Band at UMASS. Mr. Hannum was inducted into the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame in 2008.

Dennis DeLucia - Inducted into the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame in 1990, Dennis DeLucia is best known today for his work on the DCI Broadcast team as an analyst. His innovative work with Bayonne Bridgemen changed the percussion world and drum corps as a whole in the late 70's and 80's. He is an active clinician and educator in the percussion world to this day.

Jim Russo - With more than 40 years of Drum Corps experience, Jim Russo is best known as the longtime Drum Major of the Hawthorne Caballeros. With multiple DCA Championships and individual awards to his credit, he is one of the most decorated members of the Drum Corps community of all time. A 1993 inductee to the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame, his work continues today with various groups in the marching arts.

Fran Haring - Known as the “Voice of DCA”, he has served as the DCA Championship Announcer for 35 years. His work in the Drum Corps world began in 1967 with 12 years of marching as a member of the Sacred Heart Crusaders and Long Island Sunrisers. He can be heard at various Drum Corps and Marching Band events throughout the US each year.

Crissy Shannon - Her marching career in 2010 as member of the Midland Park High School Marching Band. During her six years in the MPHS program, she served in various roles including members of the color guard and mellophone sections. She continued on to be an officer and later Drum Major of the MPHS Band. During the summer of 2015 Crissy spent her first of twn seasons with Fusion Corps and was a DCA finalist. In 2017, Crissy will be marching mellophone in the Oregon Crusaders and is an active member of the PITT Marching Band and contributor to the MPHS Marching Band Program.

A few more classic Midland Park voices will join us as well… Can't wait for you to all see the finished product!
